Our Custom Building Process

 

Initial Meeting/Expectations/Budget: Client and Builder has first time meeting to discuss preliminary ideas, expectations and budget.

House design process: Client, builder and Design draftsman meet to finalize a home floorplan and style.

Cost finalization, Specifications: After finalized plan, builder briefs client of house specifications, cost break breakdowns and allowances.

Financing and Agreement: If proof of adequate financing is obtained and both parties are in agreement, a contract is signed.

Permits: Builder obtains necessary permits to construct home.

Construction Phase: Commencement of house construction begins.  Client has access to the home through each step of the building process.

Final Walk-through: Upon house completion, builder and client do a final walk-through to answer any questions the home buyer may have.

Settlement: Settlement occurs when final payment is made to builder and full ownership is transferred from builder to client.

1 yr. warranty: Client supplies builder a list of warranty items to be determined for warranty work.
